Configure Web Browser

This procedure configures Microsoft® Internet Explorer® 11. Configuration of other browsers is similar. To configure the IE web browser for Harmony:

  1. Add http://www.harmonymdm.com to the Compatibility View list.
    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Select the Tools button , and then select Compatibility View settings.
    3. Under Add this website, enter http://www.harmonymdm.com, and then select the Add button.

    4. Select Close.

  2. Add http://www.harmonymdm.com and https://maps.google.com to the Trusted sites zone.
    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Select the Tools button , and then select Internet Options.
    3. Select the Trusted sites zone.
    4. Select the Sites button. The Trusted sites window opens.
    5. Under Add this website to the zone, enter the following websites. Select the Add button after entering each one:
      • http://www.harmonymdm.com
      • https://maps.google.com
    6. Make sure Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone is selected.
    7. Select the Close button.
  3. In Security Settings – Trusted Sites Zone, enable the Display mixed content option (under the Miscellaneous category).
    1. Select the Custom level button (on the Security tab of the Internet Options window).

    2. Move through the categories to Miscellaneous (press the m key to go to the Miscellaneous category), and then enable the Display mixed content option.

    3. Select the OK button and then the Yes button (that you are sure you want to change the settings for this zone).
    4. Select the OK button (from the Internet Options window) to save and return to internet browser.
